Located between Falmouth and Helston, we are a small mixed stock farm, all down to grass, which we established in 1999.
Apart from the poultry we run approximately 100 ewes and keep a small herd of Aberdeen Angus beef cattle.
We installed a wind turbine in 2005 which produces most of our electricity requirements, thus reducing our carbon foot print. We also harvest rain water around the yards to water the poultry and other livestock.
You can buy our poultry through arrangement by phone or at Falmouth Market. Please call or email for detials.
We are currently rearing genuine Muirfield Layers Black Rocks as well as their Brown Rocks. Both are good hardy birds that are ideal for free range systems. The birds are available from day old to point of lay (for quantities of 100 or more there may be a lead in time).
We keep a few Khaki Campbell as well as Muscovy ducks. Availability is less reliable but it is always worth asking.
Both duck and chicken eggs are available from Falmouth Farmers Market, on The Moor every Tuesday.
Freezer packs generally available, or visit our stall at Falmouth Farmers Market every Tuesday for joints and chops.
We keep a variety of strains of broad breasted white turkeys, to give a range of sizes. We have recently started doing some bronze turkeys as well, so there should be something for everyone.
Available at the end of July as day olds or the end of August off heat (4 weeks).
Oven ready for Christmas or earlier in December by arrangement.
